Reading goals for 2020

#1
A few years ago I started setting goals for myself, and I thought they might stress me out and take some of the fun away from reading, but honestly they've just helped motivate me. I end up reading more so I read more cool books and I love it. So this year I set myself a goal of 75 books, which is pretty safe for me, but I think this year is going to be really busy so I'm trying to be ready for that just in case lol. Have you guys set any goals?

I've tried to get back into series writing here and there, and it'll work for a book or two but then I go back to kind of not feeling it. So I'm a slow reader. But I AM trying to be consistent rather than letting myself go months and months without reading anything. I want to try to read something new at least once a month. I should be able to do that pretty stress free, so my goal isn't huge but it's still a lot more steady than it used to be! So to me 75 is INSANE and the fact that this is a "safe" goal for you is even more lol.

I didn't set it, but I'd like to do 30 books. I think that's pretty comfortable. I have a lot more time to read than I thought I did so when I have breaks and free time I'm trying to spend it reading rather than looking at my phone or all the other habits I'm used to lol. I bring my Kindle with me and have audiobooks so I think it should be easy to do. I'm not used to setting reading goals but it feels good. :)

I set mine to 100.

In 2018 I set a goal of 50 and read 64. In 2019 I set a goal of 40 (lower since I was working on-site for the first time) and hit 92. I figured I'd try for the full 100 this year.

Currently 23 books so far so I am fairly on-track.
